Leif Eric Hellstrom, 65, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at his home in Lexington.

Born January 23, 1959 in Huntington, West Viriginia, Eric was a longtime painter/drywaller and an avid fisherman and outdoorsman.

Surviving is his mother, Melba Jones Hellstrom, and a brother, Richard Guy Hellstrom, both of Lexington. Also surviving are many friends and his longtime friend, Carie, who created many wonderful memories with the family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Eugene Hellstrom.

Following cremation, he will rejoin nature by having his remains spread at his favorite fishing spot.
