Kathy Diane (Towles) Thomas, 68, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at her home in Lexington.

Born November 13, 1955, in Georgetown to the late Virdie B. & Clara B. Johnson Towles, she retired from the board of education. Kathy loved family, music, horses, and most of all God. Kathy was a very spiritual person and had great faith.

Surviving are her daughter, Kristin Prater; a brother, Randy Towles; a sister, Brenda Towles (Johnny) Cummins; and several nieces & nephews.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 6th at Man O' War Church, 1501 Trent Boulevard, Lexington, Ky 40515. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service.
