Shi Dawn Hanley, 43, passed away Friday, July 31, 2026 at her home in Nicholasville.

Born March 7, 1983 in Lexington, Shi loved God, loved her family and had a heart of gold. She graduated from Bluegrass Community & Technical College in 2022. Shi had an infectious smile that lit up rooms and her carefree attitude was contagious. She loved fiercely, loved hard and put family first in the absolute best way she knew how. Shi has been fighting demons all of her life and the disease unfortunately finally won.

Survivors include her mothers, Helen Jordan and Cynthiana Shell (Sam); and her children: Landon (Destiney) Shell, Kameron Shell, Anthony (Lily) Shell, Brycean Stokley, Bradley Snow, Michael "JJ" Snow, Emma Brinegar & Frankie DeCoteau; along with her brothers: Joey Sibley, Jack Judy & John Judy; and her sister, Lisa Turpin.

Preceding her in death were her dads, Kevin Sibley and Stan Sosbe, and her mother, Sue Sibley.

A service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Total Grace Church, 1313 N. Limestone Street, Lexington, Kentucky 40505 with visitation beginning at 1:00 P.M.
