Andres Martinez

Andres (Bollin) Martinez Sr, 79, passed away on January 12, 2024 at his home in Nicholasville, Kentucky.

Born November 10, 1944 in Carolina, Puerto Rico to the late Juan & Berta Serrano Martinez. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, served as a minister, and operated Martinez Plumbing in New Orleans, LA. In his leisure time, Andres enjoyed fishing, cruising, eating and knitting. Spending time with his family was very important to him. He is remembered by most for his ability to make everyone laugh.

Andres was survived by his dear friend and mother of his children: Virginia Cruz of Nicholasville, KY; his 5 children: Dolly Martinez of Harker Heights, TX, Brenda (Brian) Kinsler of  Kyle, TX, Andres Martinez Jr of Nicholasville, KY, Ada (Kalvin) Victoria of Dickinson, TX & Benjamin (Nieveliz) Martinez of Nicholasville, KY; his 8 grandchildren: Grecia (Brian) Buffin, Ariana McWilliams, Daniel McWilliams Jr, Jessica Martinez, Andres Martinez III, Adriel Martinez, Benjamin Martinez Jr, and Julian Martinez; and his 4 great-grandchildren: Bradley &  Sophia Buffin and Michael & Ariyah Wright, along with a large extended family.

In accordance with his wishes, Andres will be cremated and a small gathering will be held for family and friends.
