Brenda Sue Flora

Brenda Sue Flora, 71, of Lexington, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025 at St. Joseph Hospital.

Born November 25, 1953 to the late Ansel & Minnie Mae Bailey Flora, she was a devoted mother and homemaker. Brenda loved to fish, raise hell, have family cookouts and raise her babies.

Surviving are 3 children: Bruce (Kim) Lee, Kim Purvis (Jack Sturgin) & Susan Lee (Cecil Dennis); 2 brothers, Ronnie (Eunice) Flora & Kenneth Flora; 3 sisters: Joyce Moore, Peggy (Cecil) Wilson & Hazel Redmon; 10 grandchildren: Miranda Purvis, Brittany Purvis, Sierra Clark, Angela Lawless, Ashley Lawless, Elysa Lee, Jessica Franklin, Kelsey Lee, Ethan Lee & Brandon; and 15 great-grandchildren: Austin, Skyler, Aria, Elaine, Anabelle, Aiden, Summer, Emma, Charlie, Hannah, Leah, Sofie, Abby, Briana & Chloe.

Also preceding her in death were her partner in life, Eldon Rudd; 6 brothers: Raymond Owen, Sheridan, Stanley, Jerry ,Curtis & Bobby Jean Flora; and 2 brothers-in-law, Johnny Moore & Eddie Redmon.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 25th at Great Crossing Funeral & Cremation with visitation beginning at 5:30 P.M.
