Brittany Shipman

Brittany Ann Shipman, 34 of Lexington, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025.

Born July 22, 1990, in Lexington, Brittany was an avid UK Fan who loved spending time with her children and grandson.

Survivors include her daughters, Deana Valdez & Ashlyn Shipman; her sons Ryan Shipman & Elijah Valdez; her sisters: Megan Childers, Brandy Dawson, Amie Solis & Amanda Hockett; a brother, Christopher Dawson; her stepmother, Joyce Dawson; her stepfather, Bryan Stewart; a grandson, Eamon Shipman; and Ashlyn & Ryan’s dad, William Shipman.

Preceding her in death were her mother, Diann Stewart, and father, Lester David Dawson; a sister, Cassie Childers; and Deana & Elijah’s dad, Eric Valdez.

Services will be held 5:00 P.M. Sunday, May 25th at Great Crossing Funeral & Cremation.

Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. Sunday until the time of services.
