Carole Lee Stein

Carole Lee Errecarte Stein, 84, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Fountain Circle Care and Rehabilitation in Winchester.

Born August 4, 1939 in Santa Ana, California to the late Pete Eugene & Lora Mae Crawley Errecarte, she was a retired employee of the Ashland Oil Company, where she worked for more than 30 years. Carole loved spending time with her family, having dinner dates with her friends, and always enjoyed window shopping. She was an avid walker and rarely missed a day.

Surviving are 4 children: Jeff Stein of Campbellsville, Brenda Sandy of Winchester, Kathryn (Craig) Oney of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Jason (Terri) Stein of Nashville, Tennessee; 13 grandchildren: Staci, Emily, Austin, Brad, Jessica, Katelin, Alissa, Jason, Ryker, Riley, Jax, Jacey & Kacen; and 5 great grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were a sister, Norma Eddlemon, and a granddaughter, Ashley Sandy.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 18, 2023 officiated by Jason Oney at Great Crossing Funeral & Cremation with burial to follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
