Clarence Eugene Dungey, 66, passed away Friday, July 7, 2023.
Born August 27, 1956 in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Geraldine Dungey and Clarence Markhume, he spent his youth in Detroit, Michigan and a large portion of his adult life traveling the country, especially the West Coast, working with moving companies. He returned to Lexington in his later years. Clarence loved baseball and dreamed of seeing at least one game in every MLB stadium; he made a big dent in that list. He greatly enjoyed fish, both catching and eating them and was an avid U.K. Basketball fan.
Surviving are his 2 daughters, Tarsha Inman and Erica Kumar; his sister, Roslyn "Roz" Young; 3 grandchildren: Argo Inman, Eric Scott & Railee Scott; 2 great-grandchildren, Melanie & Mikaylah Inman; his sister-in-law, Audrey Webster; several nieces & nephews and a large extended family.
Also preceding him in death were 2 brothers, Richard & Kenneth Dungey.
A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held 4:30-7:30p.m. Saturday, October 21st at The Campbell House, 1375 South Broadway, Lexington, Kentucky 40504.
