Daleyza Ortiz Garcia

Daleyza Ortiz Garcia, 8-year-old daughter of Otoniel Ortiz & Dora Garcia, passed away Monday, May 27, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

Born March 19, 2016 in Lexington, she was a 2nd grader at Garden Springs Elementary School. Daleyza loved drawing, painting, singing and dancing.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Otoniel Ortiz, Jr.; her grandparents: Carmen Vega Bravo, Maximino Oritz Macias, Guillermina Armenta & Joaquin Garcia; her godparents, Francisco & Erica Montalvo; and several aunts, uncles & cousins.

A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held 4:00-7:00 P.M. Saturday, June 1st at Great Crossing Funeral & Cremation.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial contributions to Garden Springs Elementary School in Daleyza’s memory.
