David Earl Puckett, 62, of Lexington, passed away Monday, May 27, 2024 at Fountain Circle Care & Rehabilitation in Winchester.
Born November 27, 1961 in Fayette County to the late Anderson & Joyce Mae Bishop Puckett, he was a longtime employee of Brumfield Hay & Grain. David loved fishing and watching westerns, wrestling & UK sports on television. He greatly enjoyed sitting on his front porch with his beloved dog, Isabelle, drinking his coffee, smoking his cigarettes and watching the world go by.
Surviving are a daughter, Jessica Burden; 3 grandchildren: Victoria, Emmanuel & Enrique Ortiz; a brother, Frank Bishop; 2 sisters, Edna Mae Moore & Carolyn Millar; and 3 special friends: Stephanie Miller, Travis Stokley & Chris “Deuce” Goins.
Also preceding him in death were his brother, Eugene Puckett; and special friends, Jeffery McDonald & Denise Stokley.
A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held 4:00-6:00 P.M. Saturday, June 8th at Great Crossing Funeral & Cremation.
