Dennis Reed Hatcher

Dennis Reed Hatcher, 71, of Naples, Florida, passed away Friday, July 19, 2024 at the UK-Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

Born November 3, 1952 in Naples to the late Jack F. & Fay Livingston Hatcher, he worked as a Contractor, was a self-made man and ran Collier Carpentry, Inc. for decades prior to residing in Kentucky. He had a big heart and will be missed tremendously by his family and friends. Dennis enjoyed woodworking, being outdoors, hunting and riding his swamp buggy through the Everglades. He loved his adoptive home state of Kentucky.

Surviving are 2 stepdaughters, Carin Shriver of Inverness, Florida & Michele (George) Cooper of Starke, Florida; and a brother, Bruce Hatcher of Columbus, Georgia.

Also preceding him in death were a brother, Jerry Hatcher, and his sister, Janice Hatcher.

In accordance with his wishes, Dennis will be cremated. The family will hold services in the near future.
