Edith "Edie" Potts-McCool

Edith May Potts-McCool, 68, of Nicholasville, died October 25, 2022. Born April 15, 1954, in Lexington, KY, Edith was the daughter of the late Floyd and Roxie Potts. "Edie" was one of the sweetest, loving, giving people in this world. She would always light up a room and had the biggest heart. She always put everyone first, especially her grandchildren. Her faith was important to her. 1 Corinthians 13 was one of her favorite scriptures. She was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church in Nicholasville. She is survived by her daughters, Roxanne Rowe, and Rosanna Richardson; grandchildren, Kayden, Cameron, and Miranda; and sister, Linda Norris. She is preceded in death by her brother, James Potts. A graveside service for Edith will be 1:30 PM on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Evergreen Memory Gardens, 5364 Lexington Rd., Lexington, KY 40511. A visitation will be prior from 12:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Great Crossing Funeral & Cremation, 1400 N. Broadway, Lexington, KY 40505.
