Esther L. Hulett

Esther L. Hulett, 88, of Lexington, died June 11, 2022. Born April 19, 1934, in Lexington, KY, Esther was the daughter of the late Harvey and Patty Mae Day Massie. Esther loved pink, but more than that she loved everyone. She was always on the go, especially to Walmart and yard sales. She is survived by her long-time companion, Jimmy Walling; children, Anna Grajales (Robertoni), Dianna Allen (Steve), Scotty Hulett Sr. (Rebecca) and Shari Hulett; grandchildren, Brian Hendren, James Pemberton III, Joshua Pemberton, Anthony Pemberton, Christopher Hulett, Steve Allen Jr., Christina Allen, Scotty Hulett Jr., and Matthew Fletcher; several great-grandchildren; a special niece, Christine Adams, and the Seventh Street Baptist Church family. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Leon Hulett; her son, Leon Hulett Jr. and sisters, Hazel Adams and Edna Lunsford. Pallbearers are Matthew Fletcher, James Pemberton III, Joshua Pemberton, Jacob Harris, Austin Harris, and Jeff Walling. Funeral services for Esther will be Wednesday, 2:00PM at Great Crossing Funeral & Cremation, 1400 N. Broadway, Lexington, KY 40505. Visitation will be prior starting at 12:00PM until the time of service. Burial will be in the Lexington Cemetery, 833 W. Main Street, Lexington, KY 40508.
