Freedom Lea Christison, 45, wife of Roger “Podge” Wilson, passed away Monday, December 2, 2024 at Baptist Health-Lexington.
Born November 18, 1979 in Lexington to the late William Robert & Teresa Osborne Christison, she worked for several years at Liquor Barn in Chevy Chase and was a member of Heritage Assembly of God. Freedom loved hot weather and being outdoors, especially camping and the beach. She was an outgoing people-person and always gave 100% to anything she was involved in.
Also surviving are 2 children, Cody Wilson (Crysta Muir) & Kally Wilson; and a sister, Amber Christison. She was the devoted aunt “BB” to a slew of nieces & nephews, including Darryn & Camryn Cummins.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 6th at Heritage Assembly of God by Pastor Garrol Finch. Burial will follow in Jacksonville Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Camryn Cummins, Darryn Cummins, Jeff Robinson, Trey Robinson, Cody Wilson and Kally Wilson.
Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. Friday until the time of service.
