Hattie Denise (Alcorn) Mattingly

Hattie Denise Mattingly, 67, wife of the late Donald B. Mattingly, Jr., passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025 at her home in Lexington.

Born October 25, 1957 in Lexington to the late Bobby & Glendora Jean Prather Alcorn, she worked for many years as a housekeeper. Hattie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are a daughter, Megan Hurt (Brian Monaghan); 2 brothers, Ricky & David Alcorn; a sister, Terry Alcorn; 2 granddaughters, Brooklyn Broughton (Dee Fee) & Aspen Brougthon; and 5 great-granddaughters: Leilani, Ellianna, Malayia, Haddie & Rosie, along with several nieces & nephews.

Also preceding her in death were 2 brothers, Tony & Bobby Gayle Alcorn; and 2 great-grandchildren, Terrance & Luna.

In accordance with her wishes, Hattie will be cremated with private family services.
