Jeffery Barton

Jeffery Barton, aged 68, passed away on September 20, 2024, at Ephraim McDowell Health in Danville. 

Born on March 25, 1956, Jeffery dedicated his life to his family and career. Known for his generous and caring nature, ho was a man who would give his last dollar to help others. Jeffery was a skilled mechanic, a trade that defined much of his professional life. He found joy and solace in fishing, often spending his free time by the water, enjoying the tranquility it offered. He was a devout member of the local Lutheran church, where he found community and spiritual fulfillment 

He leaves behind a loving family, including his sons, Jeffrey Adam Barton and his wife Samantha of Harrodsburg, KY, and Christopher Barton and his wife Bobbie of Crittenden, KY. He is also survived by his brother, Kenny Barton of Harrison, OH, and sister, Beverly Barton of Fort Wayne, IN. 

Jeffery was preceded in death by his brothers Ronnie and David Barton, and his parents, Pauline and Raymond Pete Barton.

A service to honor Jeffery's life will be held in the near future at the Landmark of Lancaster. Those who wish to remember Jeffery in a special way may consider expressing their condolences to the family directly, as no specific charitable contributions have been designated.
