Jeffery Allen Stein

Jeffery Allen Stein, 62, of Lexington, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023 at UK-Good Samaritan Hospital.

Born November 30, 1960 in California to the late Raymond Ronald & Carole Errecarte Stein, he was a retired employee of Ashland Oil Company & Marathon Petroleum Corporation, where he worked on and with their barges for many years. Jeffery loved fishing and spending time outdoors.

Surviving are 3 children: Austin Stein, Emily Stein & Staci Stein, all of the Ashland area; a brother, Jason (Terri) Stein of Nashville, Tennessee; 2 sisters, Brenda Sandy of Winchester and Kat (Craig) Oney of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a grandson, Hudson Stein; and several nieces & nephews. 

Following cremation, the family will hold a memorial service 3:00 P.M. Saturday, December 9th at Ashland First Church of the Nazarene, 2201 Bath Avenue, Ashland, Kentucky 41102.
