Jeffrey Allen Jones

Jeffrey Allen Jones, 62, of Campbellsville, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

Born July 1, 1962 in Campbellsville to the late Lonnie A. & Wilma Joan Cox Jones, Jeff grew up in and around the hills of his beloved hometown,  Mannsville, Kentucky. He worked for many years in the logging industry and as a mechanic. A talented artist, Jeff enjoyed drawing and painting. He also loved fast cars, motorcycles and animals.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Caren  & Kevin Snyder of Fort Wayne, Indiana; a sister, Leslie (Mark) Vance of Campbellsville; 2 grandchildren, Audrey & Melody Snyder; his aunts, Peggy (Kenny) Carpenter, Bonnie Lyons, Kathy Cox & Dorothy “Dot” Jones; a special cousin, Carmen Carpenter; a niece, Jessie Vance and 2 nephews, Weston & Trevor Vance, and a large extended family.

Also preceding him in death were 5 uncles, Anthony “Buddy” Lyons, Kenny Jones and Dennis, Richard “Dicky”, and Ronald “Randy” Cox.

The family has chosen cremation with no formal services.
