Jimmie L. Lunce, 80, of Kenton, OH, died January 29, 2022. Born September 3, 1941, in Toledo, OH, Jimmie was the son of the late Demera "Buck" Lee Lunce and Dorothy Mary Newell Lunce. He was a graduate of Anthony Wayne High School in Whitehouse, OH, where he was a multi-sport athlete, playing football, boxing and track & field. He was also a United States Navy Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Ginger Blanton Lunce; children Russell Lee Lunce (Christy "Della"), Rhonda Lee Lunce (Junior Poplin), Rachelle L. Phillips, Risha Paige, William "Lawton" Lunce (Ashlee), Clayton Demera Lunce (Rachel), and Austin David Lunce (Liz); 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Teresa J. Lawhun. He was preceded in death by, his three brothers, Kenneth Richard Lunce, Roger William Lunce, and Charles Lynn Lunce. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Ohio. Great Crossing Funeral & Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
