John Wesley Rutherford

John Wesley Rutherford, 60, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025.

Born in Lexington, July 27, 1964 to the late Barney & Henrietta Smith Rutherford, he was a longtime masonry contractor.

Survivors are his son, Jonathan William Lamb; a daughter, Ashton Hurst; 2 brothers, Rocky Allen & Rodney “Bo” Rutherford; and 2 sisters, Deborah & Rhonda Rutherford, along with 5 grandchildren.

Also preceding him in death was a son, Steven Wesley Hall, and a sister, Kathy Rutherford Rhinehimer.

Following cremation, the family will hold a memorial gathering in the future.
