Judith “Judy” Ann Henninger, 80, went to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, June 19, 2025, in Lexington, Kentucky.
Born September 30, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan, to the late William and Sara Arnn Allbritten, she was married for almost 60 years to her husband, Richard “Dick” Henninger, who preceded her in death. Her brother William “Bill” Allbritten also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Henninger graduated with honors from Murray State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing, even while raising three young children. She worked as a Registered Nurse in various supervisory roles at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital for many years before moving in 2000 to Clermont, Florida, where she retired after several years as a home health nursing manager. After moving to Lexington, Kentucky, in 2015, Judy enjoyed spending time with family and friends, as well as regularly volunteering to prepare and serve meals with her church’s homeless ministry. She lived a long and full life, and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Our loss is Heaven’s gain.
Surviving are her three children, Rick, Beth (Ken) and Tom (Dana); six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren whom she dearly loved.
A private family graveside service will be held at New Concord Cemetery in Calloway County.
