Katrina Louise Privett

Katrina Louise Privett, 53, of Lexington, passed away, surrounded by family and friends, on February 2, 2023. Born March 2, 1969, in Lexington, KY, Katrina was the daughter of Joyce Ann Brock. Katrina leaves behind three cherished children; John Allen Wright (Tessa), Ricky Lyene Triplett (Jordan), and Cheyenne Catherine Privett (Jimmie). She leaves behind four precious grandchildren; Knox, Madeline, Beckett, and Reese. She is also survived by her mother, Joyce Ann Brock; brother, Vernon Halcomb, and sister Bonnie Rankin. She leaves behind numerous cousins whom she loved dearly. Katrina would light up a room with her smile and personality. She leaves behind many friends whom she cherished including, Royce Ann and Angie. She is preceded in death by her Grandmother, Mary Louise Goodpaster, and her Great Grandparents Catherine and Ed Harpe. A celebration of life will be from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at Lexington United Baptist Church, 9477 Rockwell Rd, Lexington, KY 40516. Danny Barney, David Nichols, Ron Woodward and Ronnie Harpe will be officiating the service. The family would like to thank the University of Kentucky Hospital for the love and care they received while Katrina was in their care.
