Linda "Darlene" Roberts

Linda "Darlene" Roberts, 65, native of Lexington, died June 28, 2022. Born August 9, 1956, Linda was the daughter of the late Tracy Leon Winburn and Dealie Faye Brandenburg Winburn. Linda had a good heart and was such a loving person. She was always giving, whether it was where she worked at The Nest with children or whoever needed a helping hand and even gave of herself in the end to the Kentucky Organ Donor Association. She loved Mickey Mouse and her dog BoBo. She is survived by her daughter April Detzel (Mike); grandchildren, Alex Detzel and Mason Detzel; sisters, Brenda Rose (Jerry), Shari Whited (Tim), Kathy Hunt, and brother, Tony Clifford; special cousin, Christy Collins (Faron); nieces, Jess and Katie; and nephew, Tracy. She is preceded in death by her twins, Billy Jo and Jimmy Jo, and her daughter Jennifer Lynn. Funeral services for Darlene will be 1:00 PM on Friday, July 1, 2022, at Great Crossing Funeral & Cremation, 1400 N. Broadway, Lexington, KY 40505. Visitation will be prior starting at 11:30 AM until the time of service. Brother Jay Webb will be officiating the service. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens, 5364 Lexington Rd., Lexington, KY 40511. Great Crossing Funeral & Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
