Michael Lynn Yocum

Michael Lynn Yocum, 36, of Lexington, died March 5, 2022. Born July 8, 1985, in Lebanon, KY, Michael was the son of Michael Gartin and the late Frances Yocum. He is survived by his father Michael Gartin (Teresa Davis); his children, Kaylee Yocum, Karlie Yocum, Laiden Yocum, Remi Yocum, Jacie White, and Mersadiez White; two brothers, Chris Yocum, Jordan Gartin; two sisters, Timika Rae, Venetta Yocum and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Michael was a former football player at Tates Creek High School and was loved by many. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Tues., March 15, 2022, at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 485 W. Fourth St., Lexington, KY 40508 by Father Norman Fischer. Burial will follow in Calvery Cemetery, 874 W. Main St., Lexington, KY 40508. Visitation will be prior to the Mass starting at 10:00 AM at the church. Great Crossing Funeral & Cremation, 1400 N. Broadway, Lexington, KY 40505 is in charge of arrangements.
