Michelle Lynn Upthegrove, 51, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
Born March 31, 1972 in Fayette County, she was a 1990 graduate of Henry Clay High School and worked for many years as a nurse in both doctor’s offices and at Baptist Health-Lexington. She had the kindest of hearts, was always willing to lend a helping hand and gave of herself freely to anyone in need. She was an avid supporter of the Kentucky Organ Donor’s Association.
Michelle’s children and granddaughter were her #1 priority and her greatest joy. She had an infectious laugh and a wicked sense of humor. She also loved spending time at the beach.
Surviving are her three children: Braxton Upthegrove, Brysen Mack & Ambria Mack; her mother, Beverly J. Upthegrove; her granddaughter, Paisley Upthegrove; her nephew, Preston Upthegrove; her niece, Macy Upthegrove; and several aunts, uncles, cousins & friends.
Michelle was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Upthegrove.
Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 28th at Man O’ War Church, 1501 Trent Boulevard, Lexington, Kentucky 40515. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. Thursday until the time of services.
