Nancy Jane Urbanczyk

Nancy Jane Urbanczyk, 70, of Lexington, died July 5, 2022. Born November 22, 1951, in St. Louis, MO, Nancy was the daughter of the late Wilbert and Wilma Beatty Ashworth. Nancy was a real estate broker and owned her own real estate business in Chicago. She later was the Director of Twin Lakes Camp in Plymouth, IN for many years. She was also involved in Kiwanis Club and was an avid horse racing fan. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved to cook for the holidays and make everyone feel special on their birthday. She is survived by her husband Tom Urbanczyk, with whom she spent 46 years together; daughter, Shannon Jamison; grandchildren, Amanda Kopca, Lexi Kopca and Amelie Hathaway; great grandchild, Elsie Gripshover; siblings, Barbara Schmidt and Randy Ashworth; her dog, Pooka and cat, Manoonie. A celebration of life ceremony will be at a later date. Great Crossing Funeral & Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
