Nona Comley, 71, of Paris, peacefully passed away at Baptist Health-Lexington on Sunday, June 7, 2026.
Born July 12, 1954 in Scott County to the late Charles Edward & Edna Louise Rankin Comley, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt whose greatest joy in life was her family. She especially treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating memories that will be cherished for years to come.
Nona was an avid reader who found happiness in gardening, shopping and the simple pleasures of life. She delighted in feeding and watching hummingbirds, and enjoyed sharing meals with family and friends, especially at Texas Roadhouse. Her warm heart, loving nature, and dedication to her family will be remembered by all who knew her.
Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Sylvia (Ronnie) True; a daughter-in-law, Tonya Turner; 2 grandchildren, Christian (Chad) Stickney & Lonnie Turner, Jr. (Ashley Ballard); 2 great-grandchildren, Turner & Rylee Stickney; several nieces & nephews including Kenneth True, Susan True, Daniel (Rachael) True, and Dustin True (Hank Hutchinson); great-nieces & nephews: Kenzie, Bowden, Kylah, Tristan, Taya & Talia True; along with a large extended family and many friends.
Also preceding Nona in death were her sons, Lonnie Turner & Terry Comley; a grandson, Josh Comley; 5 brothers and sisters: Leonard Comley, Irene Flynn, Charles Franklin Comley, Mary Jane Burton & Daniel Comley; a great-niece, Karrington True; and a great-nephew, Truman True.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Nona’s life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 13th at River of Life Ministries in Bourbon County.
Though she will be greatly missed, Nona’s love, kindness, and the memories she created with those she loved will remain forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
