Norman Lee Lewis, 87, husband of the late Agnes Fielder Lewis, passed away Friday, May 24, 2024 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
Born July 12, 1936 in Fleming County to the late Goldie Lewis Havens, he worked for many years as a fencing contractor. Norman loved country music, watching baseball and basketball, especially the Kentucky Wildcats, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a collector of treasures and always on the go, be it traveling or walking for pleasure.
Surviving are his 2 daughters, Norma Jean Lewis (Steve Bowling) & Christy Fox (Steve) Lewis, both of Lexington; a brother, Winfred Havens; 3 sisters: Martha Goldy, Leona Foster & Juanita Centers; and 2 grandchildren, Jacob Brentley & Andrew Michael Fox.
Also preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents who raised him, Henry Frank & Nellie Lewis; a brother, Cleveland Havens; and a sister, Betty Conkwright.
In accordance with his wishes, Norman will be cremated with no formal services.
