Pamela Vae Vance Spangler, 71, passed away on April 13, 2026.
Born in Whitesburg, Kentucky, Pamela was a woman of immense grace, wit, and beauty who dedicated her life to the joy and comfort of her family. As a devoted homemaker, Pamela didn’t just maintain a house; she created a sanctuary. She possessed a natural talent for homemaking and found great pleasure in the simple joys of life—whether it was a successful shopping trip or, most importantly, the time spent surrounded by those she loved. To know her was to know her sharp intelligence and a sense of humor that could brighten any room.
Pamela’s legacy of love lives on through her devoted husband, Kenneth Spangler; her daughter, Brittany Spangler; and her son, Cameron Moncrief. She was a proud and doting grandmother to Julius, Maximus, Triton, and Ariana Moncrief. She is also survived by Cindy Moncrief.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Goldie and Albert Vance, and her son, Douglas Moncrief.
Pamela will be remembered for her beautiful spirit, her laughter, and the unwavering dedication she had for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 17th at Great Crossing Funeral & Cremation with entombment to follow in Lexington Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon Friday until the time of service.
