Perry Joiner Sr. Obituary
Our precious Dad and Papa P, Perry Thomas Joiner, Sr., of Lexington, KY unexpectedly left his life on earth on the evening of August 19, 2022. He is a treasured gift to his daughter, Jennifer Kinney and husband Brandon of Bon Aqua, TN; son Perry Thomas Joiner, Jr. and his fiancé Shane Terenzi of Los Angeles, CA; four grandchildren Woods, Fox, Nix and Tate Kinney; identical twin brother and best friend Jerry Joiner; half-sisters Sheila Cotton of Clarksville, TN and Susan Smith of Columbia, MD. Perry is preceded in transition by his parents Elwood and Elizabeth Joiner and Dorothy Cannon.
Perry was an adventurer, comedian and athlete. He was called a "kitchen and bath maestro" by his good friend Bob Wheeler. He designed kitchens for a living and left behind beautiful works of art. He's always had a kind heart and positive disposition with an inescapable charm. He adored his family and lived for the next adventure with his grandchildren. He taught them many things including golf, baseball, solitaire and poker.
He was taken from us too soon, but we know his adventures are just beginning again. He'll be designing castles, singing, skiing, and playing jokes on his family in no time.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Medical Malpractice Advocacy Association.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
