Rita Ann (Evans) Stacey

Rita Ann Stacey (77) passed on January 5th, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born to the late Owen and Myrtle Cantrell Evans on May 14th, 1947 in Ironton, Ohio, she was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with family, going to yard sales and thrift stores. She had an immense love for card games, jokes and riddles.

Rita is survived by her lifetime partner, Art Rudig of Nicholasville, KY; her daughter, Pam (Alice) Stacey of Nicholasville, KY; her two sons, Mike (Geri) Stacey of Harrodsburg, KY, and Shawn (Dina) Stacey of Prosperity, SC; eleven Grandchildren; and fourteen Great-Grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Philip (Jr) Stacey; her brothers: Owen Evans Jr, Gary Evans, Harold Evans, James Evans, and Charles Evans; and a sister, Faye Evans.

Rita was dearly loved by her family and will be deeply missed. We ask for prayers for the family as they deal with the loss of the matriarch of their family. A memorial will be held at a later date.
