Roy "Raleigh" Rankin, 83, of Lexington, widower of Rebecca "Becky" Rankin, died February 13, 2022. Born August 16, 1938, in Midway, KY, Roy was the son of the late Allen and Vancie Jane Rankin. He retired from American Tobacco where he was a truck driver for many years. He worked hard his whole life. He is survived by his children, Wanda Goodlet (David), Melinda Martinez (Antonio), Rebecca Rankin, Raleigh Rankin Jr., and Roy Dewayne Rankin; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren. In addition to his wife of 51 years, he is proceeded in death by his daughter Pam Huff; grandchildren; Raleigh Rankin III and Fred Huff; and several siblings.
