Rufina Canono Sebial Pacaide, 74, wife of the late Eduardo Romo Pacaide, passed away Monday, February 5, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
Born November 7, 1949 in San Fernando, Philippines to the late Guillermo & Ignacia Canono Sebial, she was a longtime employee of the University of Kentucky. Rufina loved Jesus and spending time in chapel. Always industrious, she worked circles around people half her age and enjoyed staying busy. She also liked shopping and listening to music.
Surviving are a daughter, Catherine Pacaide Milian; 6 grandchildren: Clive & Dycirelle Lagarus, Mary Grace & David Douglas, and Faith & Mark Milian; her sister, Felicidad Sebial Manatum; 2 brothers, Eleuterio Canono Sebial & Bernardino Canono Sebial; and a very special friend, Donna Stanley.
Also preceding her in death were her son, Michael Sebial Pacaide, and her siblings, Cresencio Canono Sebial, Cosme Canono Sebial & Gerardo Canono Sebial.
A Gathering of Family & Friends will begin 3:00 P.M. Sunday, February 11th at Great Crossing Funeral & Cremation with a Time of Remembrance at 5:00 P.M.
