Ryan Alan Mattson

Ryan Alan Mattson, 38, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at his home in Lexington, Kentucky.

He was born on April 27, 1985, in Aurora, Minnesota, and from that moment, his journey was marked by kindness, passion, and dedication. He is survived by his parents Lori & Joe Larson of Waconia, Minnesota, brother Sam Larson, and his three children Willow & Xayden Mattson of Waconia, Minnesota, and Gavin McDaniel of Louisville, Kentucky.  He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Gerald & Betty Mattson of Aurora, Minnesota, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Ryan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Wayne & Yvonne Larson, Donald & Phyllis Klovstad, his aunt Linda Pellinen, and his uncle Gus Larson.

Ryan was the proud owner of Spare Key Solutions, where he demonstrated his exceptional skills as an auto mechanic. He also worked as a carpenter, a notary, and an ordained minister (via Universal Life Church Ministries). He was deeply committed to helping those close to him, and he was loved by friends and family. His kind heart and infectious smile touched the lives of everyone he met.

A celebration of life will be held at Vi Pizza, Biwabik, Minnesota on May 26, 2024, from 1-3pm, where we will gather to honor his incredible journey and the profound impact he had on our lives.

Ryan may have left this world too soon, but it was a life well lived. May his memory forever be a guiding light, inspiring us to live each day to the fullest with kindness, joy, and love. Rest in peace and know that you are deeply loved and greatly missed, and forever in our hearts.
