Sarah Jane White

Sarah Jane McCoy White, 73, wife of 47 years to the late Kenneth Thomas White, passed away peacefully with family at her side Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

Born February 26, 1950 in Lexington to the late Roger Louis & Lita Thompson McCoy, she was a retired employee of JPMorgan Chase, having worked in their trust division. She was an avid reader, master of crossword puzzles, loved music, enjoyed sewing, needlework, and was well-known for her artfully embellished gift wrapping.

Surviving are 3 children, Sarah (Jeremy) Hamilton of Georgetown, Nathaniel (Christine) White of Lexington, and Joshua (Nikkie) White of Knoxville, Tennessee; 2 grandchildren, Dustin White & Juniper Hamilton; 3 bonus grandchildren, Paige Sandifer, Courtney Drafton & Kayla Drafton; a sister, Mary McCoy of Lexington; and a beloved best friend of 52 years, Kaye Myers.

The family has chosen cremation with no public services.
