Shirley Patricia (Blunt) Olliges

Shirley Patricia Blunt Olliges, 91 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away peacefully at home on October 31, 2025. 

Born on April 29, 1934 in Independence, Missouri to the late Frederick & Jewel DeRuelle Blunt, Shirley was most importantly a wife and mother, which she excelled at.  Later in life she owned her own business and enjoyed serving the community. She loved entertaining, traveling, gardening and blessing all she knew with her famous chocolate truffles and other goodies. 

Surviving are her children: Ray Olliges Jr. of Louisville, Kentucky, Fred Olliges of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Julie Belcher (Hugh) of Abingdon, Virginia, Joe Olliges (Lee Anne) of Lexington, Kentucky, and Neil Olliges (Kim) of Charlotte, North Carolina; 10 grandchildren who loved and adored their Nana; and 9 great-grandchildren. 

Also preceding her in death were her husband, Ray Olliges Sr.; a son, Jon David Olliges; a granddaughter, Sarah Grace Olliges; and a grandson, Cameron Patrick Dotson. 

A celebration of life will be held 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Saturday November 15th at Valley View Church, 8911 3rd Street Rd, Louisville, Kentucky 40272.
