Shirley Willoughby Obituary

Shirley Mae Willoughby, 87, of Georgetown, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Baptist Health-Lexington.

Born August 18, 1936 in Russell Springs to the late Claude Eugene & Floy Smith George, she worked for many years as a desk clerk at local hotels. She was a lifetime member of both the American Legion & VFW Auxiliaries.

Surviving are a son, Jonathan Johnson; a daughter, Vicky Johnson; a sister, Kay Sams; 7 grandchildren; and several great, great-great & great-great-great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were her husband, Kenneth Lee Johnson; 3 sons, Kenneth, Jr., Ricky & David Johnson; and 2 brothers, Claude Eugene & Cuthbert Dean George.

In accordance with her wishes, Shirley will be cremated with no formal services.
