Teddy Ritchie, Jr.

Ted Daniel “Teddy” Ritchie, Jr., 59, of Nicholasville, husband of Michelle Mailhot Ritchie, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023. 

Born September 12, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois, he worked for many years as a cook in restaurants around the country. He loved Elvis, singing, watching football, cooking, collecting sports cards and writing poetry.  

In addition to his wife of 34 years, Michelle, he is survived by his mother, Geraldine Combs Russell; 3 children: Destiny Lee Ritchie (Justin Bruner), Amber Lynne Ritchie & Derek Daniel Ritchie; 2 brothers, Danny Baker & Carlos “Chuck” Russell; a sister, Teresa Campbell; and 4 grandchildren: Lilliana Rose & Keegan Daniel Ritchie and Madison Lee & Mason Everett Coleman.  

Preceding him in death were his father, Ted Daniel (Aunda Jean) Ritchie, Sr.; a brother, Ricky Ritchie; and 2 sisters, Freida Ritchie & Cheryl Branham. 

A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held 4:00-6:00 P.M. Saturday, November 18th at Great Crossing Funeral & Cremation with a Time of Remembrance beginning at 6:00 P.M.
