William "Peanut" Spicer

William Dale “Peanut” Spicer, 67, passed away Friday, October 11, 2024 at his home in Winchester.

Born June 22, 1957 in Perry County to the late Willie & Geneva Gross Spicer, he farmed all of his life and was of the Christian faith. Peanut loved spending time with his family and gladly lent a helping hand to anyone in need.

Surviving are his daughter, Shawanna Lenz (Danny Smith) of Lexington; 2 brothers, Billy Spicer & Calvin Highley; 3 sisters: Wanda Branham, Zelma Morefield & May Gross; 5 grandchildren: Caleb & Dylan Clark and Trenton, Gavin & Raylee Lenz; a special friend, Pam Wattenberger-Ervin; and several nieces & nephews.

Also preceding him in death were 2 brothers, Bobby & H. B. Spicer.

In accordance with his wishes, Peanut will be cremated with no formal services.
