Willie "Wookie" Hensley

Willie Lewis Hensley, 39, of Lexington, died January 20, 2023. Born November 24, 1983, in Lexington, KY, Willie was the son of Connie Lewis Hensley and the late James Stephan Hensley. Willie was loved by many. Other than is mother, Connie, Willie is survived by his fiancé, Martina Smith; children, Makayla Ann Jones, Gary Wayne Hall, Gwyneth Jewell, Willie Hensley II, Kendall Hensley, and Jameson Hensley; siblings, Joseph Breckinridge Shepherd, Lottie Puckett, Stephen Lee Hensley, and Natasha Hensley; and a host of nieces and nephews. Other than is father, he is preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Amanda Hensley. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Great Crossing Funeral & Cremation, 1400 N. Broadway, Lexington, KY 40505.
